Peter Ungaro is President and CEO of Cray, “the supercomputing company.” He was named CEO of the Year for 2006 by Seattle Business Monthly magazine for his leadership in turning around the company and one of the “40 under 40” by Corporate Leader Magazine in 2008. In 2013, Bloomberg named him No. 4 on their list of “Top Tech Turnaround Artists” for generating a total shareholder return of more than 361% since becoming CEO of Cray. Ungaro was appointed to the United States Department of Commerce’s Manufacturing Council and served from 2010 to 2012. Before joining Cray in 2003, Ungaro served as VP of Sales for Worldwide Deep Computing at IBM.
